On March 4th, Mr. Truong Quoc Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Ha Nam Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, along with the provincial National Assembly Delegation, paid a visit and held discussions with the Consulate General of Vietnam in Shanghai, China as part of the ongoing efforts to attract investment from China.

On behalf of the provincial leaders and the delegation, the Chairman extends his appreciation to the Consulate General of Vietnam in Shanghai for their warm welcome. The delegation hopes for positive support for the upcoming investment and trade promotion seminar in Kunshan, Jiangsu province, China. Over 100 Chinese companies have already registered to participate in the seminar.

The Chairman of People’s Committee of Ha Nam province shared updates on the region’s economic and social development, along with its investment attraction efforts. Highlighting Hà Nam’s proactive approach and focus on sustainable growth, the province is prioritizing investments in infrastructure to improve connectivity, implementing investor-friendly policies, and fostering a skilled workforce.

Following General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping’s visit to Vietnam in 2023, which was significant for bilateral relations, economic ties between Vietnam and China have continued to expand positively. Hà Nam sees investment cooperation as vital for its socio-economic advancement. Thus, through its current investment promotion activities in China, the province aims to showcase its potential to a broad audience and attract more Chinese businesses, particularly in industrial, cultural, and tourism sectors, bolstering the friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
