1. Investment proposal for route linking Ha Giang with Noi Bai-Lao Cai Highway
The Project Management Board No.2 has requested the Ministry of Transport to send an official document to the Korea Economic Development Cooperation Fund (KEDCF) to confirm the official development assistance (ODA) component of the project constructing the route connecting Ha Giang with the Noi Bai-Lao Cai Highway.

2. Adding LNG import terminal for Ca Na LNG Power Complex
The prime minister approved the suggestion of the Ministry of Transport of adding a liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal in Ca Na LNG Power Complex.
The terminal can endure loads of up to 97,000 tonnes and will directly support the first phase (1,500MW) of the LNG power complex.

3. Vietnam’s seaport system has eight more terminals
Eight terminals have been added to the list of those at seaports in Vietnam, raising the total to 286.
Among the newly added terminals, four are part of Vung Tau Seaport in the southern province of Ba Ria – Vung Tau, according to the list recently released by the Ministry of Transport.
The seaports of Hai Phong, Khanh Hoa, Dong Nai, and HCM City have one new terminal each.

4. Vietnam’s first metro line ever will be put into commercial operation this month
Hanoi’s Cat Linh-Ha Dong urban railway line, invested in by the Ministry of Transport, is expected to be put into commercial operation on the Reunification Day (April 30), a leader from the ministry has said.
During the first 15 days of operation, passengers can travel free of charge. Tickets will then cost 15,000 VND per trip.

5. Vietnam readies vaccine passport entry for investors, tourists
At a regular meeting of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, related agencies and telecom providers said Friday that the information technology infrastructure for handling Covid-19 vaccine passports was basically ready and “fully adapts to international preparations of vaccine passport deployment.”

6. The first ever smart electric bus put into operation in Vietnam
VinBus officially opened and put into operation the first smart electric bus in Vietnam. The first electric bus lines will operate in Vinhomes Ocean Park (Gia Lam) while waiting for finishing the procedures to connect with the city’s public passenger transport system in the coming time.
