Hai Phong is not only known as a large port city and for its streets shaded by red flamboyant flowers, but in the past decade, this city has made strong developments, becoming one of the leading industrial and logistics centers in the country.
A key factor driving this growth is the system of industrial parks (IPs) planned synchronously and modernly, attracting billions of USD in foreign direct investment (FDI). Many large corporations such as LG, Bridgestone, Pegatron, etc., have chosen Hai Phong as an important production location.
So, currently, which industrial parks in Hai Phong are playing a leading role in attracting investment? Which IPs should businesses be interested in when looking for opportunities in this area?
As of the end of 2024, Hai Phong had 14 IPs planned and developed with a total area of more than 6,080 hectares, of which more than 4,028 hectares are for industrial production.
According to the report of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board at the conference in early 2025, in 2024, the city’s IPs and Economic Zones (EZs) attracted 4.35 billion USD in FDI capital, exceeding 242% of the plan, raising the total accumulated FDI capital to about 30.3 billion USD. Notably, 77% of projects focus on high technology, processing – manufacturing, and logistics, showing a clear and sustainable development orientation.
This success largely comes from the “diamond” location advantage of typical IPs such as Deep C, VSIP, and Nam Dinh Vu. These are all IPs located adjacent to Lach Huyen Deep-water Port and directly connected to the North-South and Hanoi-Hai Phong-Quang Ninh expressway networks, helping businesses shorten delivery time and significantly reduce logistics costs.
Besides geographical advantages, the infrastructure system at IPs also meets international standards, including electricity, water, wastewater treatment, 5G telecommunications, and packaged logistics services. Not stopping there, Hai Phong also pioneers the development of eco-industrial parks and IPs using renewable energy, meeting strict environmental standards, creating a competitive advantage in the context of the green investment trend spreading globally.

Industrial parks in Hai Phong are leading FDI investment magnets.
Invested by Sao Do Group, with a scale of up to 1,329 hectares in a prime location. Nam Dinh Vu is the only IP in Vietnam possessing a deep-water seaport right within the zone, creating an uncopyable competitive advantage.
Golden advantages in logistics:

Nam Dinh Vu IP possesses a unique internal seaport advantage.
Located in Dinh Vu – Cat Hai Economic Zone, projects here receive the highest incentives from the Government:
In addition to a large industrial land fund, Nam Dinh Vu also offers a “turnkey” solution through GNP Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Center developed by Gaw NP Industrial. This is a suitable choice for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), or companies needing to quickly deploy production and logistics facilities without spending time on construction.

Located right at the international trade gateway, DEEP C possesses a golden location adjacent to Lach Huyen Deep-water Port, directly connected to the Hanoi – Hai Phong expressway, Tan Vu – Lach Huyen bridge, and only about 10 km from Cat Bi International Airport. Thanks to this advantage, businesses at DEEP C can easily access both domestic and international markets, maximizing goods transportation time reduction and optimizing logistics costs.
DEEP C invests methodically in a synchronous infrastructure system, meeting the highest standards for modern industries:
Aiming for 30% of energy demand from renewable energy by 2030, this industrial park applies the “Eco-Industrial Park” model with green corridors, energy reuse, and greenhouse gas emission minimization. Therefore, this place becomes an ideal destination for businesses pursuing ESG standards and green production.

DEEP C Hai Phong IP aims for sustainable development and clean energy.
VSIP Hai Phong Industrial Park is vivid proof of the enduring cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Singapore. Developed by a joint venture between Becamex IDC (Vietnam) and Sembcorp Development (Singapore), besides being an industrial park, VSIP Hai Phong is also an Urban – Industrial – Service complex according to international standards, with a scale of 1,600 hectares in Thuy Nguyen district.
Designed according to the “Work – Live – Play” model, combining modern production areas with living spaces and utility services. The entire infrastructure of VSIP Hai Phong is methodically planned, with spacious internal roads, greenery covering everywhere, and wastewater and solid waste treatment systems meeting international environmental standards.

Trang Due IP stands out by successfully attracting many large-scale FDI projects, especially in the field of electronics and high technology. LG Group and satellite companies have invested billions of USD here, turning the industrial park into a leading electronic production cluster in Vietnam. With many years of operation, Trang Due’s infrastructure has proven its stability, sustainability, and efficiency. Electricity, water, and waste treatment systems are well maintained, meeting international standards. Especially, the working environment here is suitable for high-tech production requirements, demanding precision and continuity.
Ben Rung IP is one of the emerging industrial park projects in Hai Phong, carrying the expectation of becoming a high-tech and clean industry manufacturing center in the future. The project is developed by Ben Rung Industrial Park Development JSC – a joint venture between the VSIP brand and strategic partners, ensuring the inheritance of experience and international operating standards.
An Duong Industrial Park, with only 196 hectares, has maintained its attraction to international investors for many years. Located in An Duong district, right next to the center of Hai Phong, this industrial park helps businesses take only a few minutes to access seaports, airports, national highways, and expressways. Geographical proximity means reducing logistics costs and shortening transportation time, which many businesses consider a vital factor.
Located in An Duong district, with a scale of 153 hectares, Nomura is neatly planned, optimized for high-tech industrial production. Businesses locating factories here can easily connect to national highways, expressways, and large seaports, ensuring the supply chain always flows smoothly. With key areas such as precision mechanics, electronics, automotive – motorcycle parts production, and high-tech industry, Nomura IP becomes an ideal destination for investors looking for a standard, stable, and reliable production environment in Hai Phong.

With a scale of 150 hectares and developed by a joint venture between Hai Phong and Hong Kong, Do Son IP is planned for light industries and production support services. Outstanding fields include:
Besides stable infrastructure factors, the location near urban areas and services also brings advantages in recruitment, retaining workers, and ensuring their lives. Thanks to that, Do Son IP becomes an attractive choice for businesses looking for a production location that is both efficient and worker-friendly in Hai Phong.
Located in An Lao District, Hai Phong City, Cau Cuu Industrial Park is developed by Cau Cuu Industrial Park JSC with a scale of about 104 hectares. Unlike many large IPs focusing on attracting multinational corporations, Cau Cuu targets small and medium enterprises (SMEs), providing premises and services with reasonable costs and flexible rental policies. Thanks to the convenient connection location with main traffic routes, businesses at Cau Cuu can distribute goods quickly to Northern provinces, while easily accessing local labor sources.
Unlike the traditional IP model, Nam Cau Kien dedicates a large percentage of area to greenery and water surface, helping to form a fresh working environment, balancing production and nature. Infrastructure here is designed to serve clean industries, high technology, recycling, and renewable energy, attracting investors who share a vision of sustainable development and social responsibility.
The strong development of the industrial park system has proven Hai Phong to be a key production and logistics center of the country. This is a strategic, safe, and effective investment choice for domestic and foreign businesses.
